Vučić spoke with Lavrov: About Pristina's intentions to ban participation of the Serb List on elections

President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, spoke today on the phone with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russian Federation, Sergey Lavrov, and stated that he informed him of the intention of Pristina to ban Serb List from participating in the upcoming elections.

"I introduced Minister Lavrov, as a representative of a UN member country, that Pristina, in violation of all acts of international public law, is trying to ban the Serb List from participating in the upcoming elections," Vučić said on the Instagram account of buducnostrbijeav.

A very good and meaningful conversation with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Sergey Lavrov, wrote Vučić on Instagram, and listed the topics they talked about.

1. I learned from Minister Lavrov, as a representative of a UN member state, that Prishtina, in violation of all acts of international public law, is trying to ban the Serb List from participating in the upcoming elections.

2. We discussed and jointly expressed concern about the situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Republika Srpska and agreed that full compliance with the Dayton Peace Agreement is the best way to preserve peace and stability.

3. The topics of the conversation were the announced sanctions on the NIS and a meeting of experts from Serbia and Russia was arranged, as soon as the American sanctions are announced.

We also discussed all other important issues of our bilateral cooperation, confirmed the friendship between our countries and expressed the belief that with our greater engagement, we can increase the trade exchange between Serbia and Russia.
