President of the Republic of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, received Ambassador Jan Braathu, the Head of the Mission of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) in Serbia, on a farewell visit.
"I thanked Ambassador @osce_serbia Jan Braathu for his dedicated and professional leadership of the OSCE Mission in Serbia and wished him much success in his future work. Our cooperation with the OSCE is exceptional and we remain committed to promoting peace, stability and security throughout the region.
OSCE Mission has a key role in our comprehensive reform process, especially in support in the areas of security and dialogue, which is the key to overcoming challenges and preserving stability. We support the work of the OSCE in Kosovo and Metohija, in accordance with Resolution 1244 of the UN Security Council, and I believe that only a strong international presence can ensure security for all citizens of the southern Serbian province," the post on Instagram stated.
