I reiterated the importance of the continuation of this process and the role that Italy can play as a partner that consistently and strongly supports the EU enlargement policy. We talked about the current geopolitical situation, the challenges facing Europe, especially in light of the global crises and changes that are taking place quickly, bringing us all challenges such as economic and energy insecurity and security threats that affect both our region and Europe as a whole.
