Serbia lodged an urgent protest, representatives of Pristina were no longer given the opportunity to speak
Member of the National Assembly of Serbia Nikola Radosavljević filed a protest in the European Parliament due to the presentation of the representative of Pristina at the session of the Parliamentary Plenum of the Energy Community.
During her presentation, she used the name "Republic of Kosovo" and made accusations against Serbia, after which the representatives of Pristina were no longer allowed to speak in the European Parliament.
Radosavljević pointed out that the chairman had to react and interrupt the speech of the representative of Pristina, Mimoza Kusari-Lila, who used the name "Republic of Kosovo", compared Belgrade and Pristina with Russia and Ukraine, and accused Serbia of the explosion near Zubin Potok, and pointed out that the so-called Kosovo was not recognized by five EU members.
"We don't have any problem as far as dialogue and cooperation are concerned. As far as energy is concerned, you know what efforts we are making, what we have done, how much we are giving for Kosovo and Metohija, but you simply cannot let the meeting be conducted in this way, because this is not a political gathering, this is a meeting related to the Energy Community, and Serbia is leading in the region in terms of fulfilling all the conditions, regulations and directives that the Energy Community and the European Union have given us as a task for inclusion in the great family of the European Union," Radosavljevic said.
He emphasized that Serbia condemns the attack on the Ibar-Lepenac water canal, which threatens the supply of electricity to both the north and the south of the AP Kosovo and Metohija. He also pointed out that Serbia cooperates in the matter of electricity supply and electricity transmission, but that it cannot accept that its property in AP KiM is illegally confiscated, that Serbian substations are illegally raided and KOST panels are forcibly installed instead of EMS.
"We are asking you to help us protect our property, which has been unlawfully confiscated in the past two decades as far as the energy sector is concerned. Contrary to everything, Serbia is acting responsibly when it comes to the supply of electricity in the north of Kosovo and Metohija," said Radosavljević. After Radosavljević lodged a protest, representatives of Pristina were no longer given the opportunity to speak.
