New threats from Pristina: If necessary, we will send the army to the north of Kosovo
Defense Minister Ejup Maqedonci told Kosovo Press that, if necessary, he would send the army to the north, but that in these circumstances it was not necessary to take such a step.
Commenting on the security situation in the north, Maqedonci stated in a written response that after the meeting of the Security Council, the KBS was engaged in patrolling and securing key points of critical infrastructure. He said that hundreds of armed soldiers remained during Saturday at various positions in Obilić and Vučitrn and that, if necessary, they would send armed troops to the north as well.
"According to the assessments and coordination we did at the level of institutions and with the KFOR command, it was not necessary to take such a step in these circumstances," he said.

Let us remind you that yesterday the President of Serbia spoke about Pristina's lies that Belgrade was involved in the explosion on the Ibar-Lepenac water canal.
In addition, Vučić referred to the baseless accusations coming from Pristina. The President of Serbia stated that such finger-pointing at Belgrade is irresponsible and worrisome.
As a reminder, reporting on the explosion near Zubin Potok in which the Ibar-Lepenac canal was damaged, the Reuters agency points out that "no direct evidence of Belgrade's involvement was found".
Reuters stated that the prime minister of the temporary institutions of Pristina, Albin Kurti, characterized the explosion as a "theoretical act" and accused Belgrade of it.
Reuters points out that without providing evidence, Kurti repeated the words of the president of the temporary institutions of Pristina, Vjosa Osmani, who accused, as she stated, "Serbian criminal gangs" for the attack.
The agency emphasizes that the cause of the explosion, which affected the drinking water supply, is not clear.
