Conference "Equal. Safe. Empowered", Vučić will attend it VIDEO
In Belgrade, on the occasion of the start of the campaign "16 days of combating violence against women", the "Equal. Safe. Empowered" conference is being held, and the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, is also participating.
The conference was organized by the Cabinet of Ministers without portfolio in charge of gender equality, prevention of violence against women and economic and political empowerment of women, and the introductory part will be addressed by President Vučić, President of the National Assembly Ana Brnabić and Minister without portfolio Tatjana Macura.
Minister Macura, Permanent Coordinator of the UN in Serbia Matilde Mort, Deputy Head of the EU Delegation in Serbia Plamena Halacheva and Ambassador of the Kingdom of Sweden Charlotte Sammelin are scheduled to speak at the "Equal" panel.
At the "Safe" panel, the moderator will be Minister Macura, and the Minister of Internal Affairs Ivica Dačić, Minister of Health Zlatibor Lončar, Minister of Justice Maja Popović, Minister of Labour, Employment, Veterans and Social Affairs Nemanja Starović and Minister of Human and Minority Rights Tomislav Žigmanov will speak.
The Commissioner for the Protection of Equality Brankica Janković, President of the Committee for Human and Minority Rights and Gender Equality Aleksandar Marković, Director of the Office for IT and EU Law Mihailo Jovanović, Public Prosecutor of OJT Niš Darko Trajković and Jelena Hrnjak from NGO Athens will address the "Empowered" panel.
