Tomislav Momirović resigned

"I am informing you that I am resigning from the position of Minister of Internal and Foreign Trade," wrote Tomislav Momirović.

He submitted his resignation to the Prime Minister of Serbia, Miloš Vučević.

In his resignation, he also stated the following: "I am grateful to the President of the Republic of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, for his trust and award. For him and for Serbia, I am always here."

Let us remind you that the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, said last night that he expects new resignations today.

"First of all, on the occasion of the tragedy, I would like to express my condolences to the families of the victims, to say that the state, although I know how inappropriate it sounds, will help as much as possible. I expect new resignations in the course of tomorrow, both from the government and in other places, and I am sure that the prosecution will take measures as soon as possible. Responsibility cannot be avoided. Fifteen people died not because of their own fault, but because someone did not do their job properly and in accordance with the law," said Aleksandar Vučić.
