Vučić: Both I and Tokayev are worried VIDEO

Apart from President Vučić, Tokayev also addressed the media.

Vučić stated that he was happy that he was able to learn a lot from President Tokayev both about the world and about the opportunities in the Kazakh region. Our conversations, as he said, were very correct.

"I would like to thank our friend Tokayev because he always stood by Serbia, its territorial integrity and sovereignty, just as Serbia will always stand by the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Kazakhstan. We are loyal people and we always remember who did us good, sometimes we exaggerate and forget who did us harm," Vučić pointed out.

He stated that both he and Tokayev were concerned about the escalation of the conflict, referring to the war in Ukraine.

He also pointed out that Kazakhstan, like Serbia, stands for peace and the preservation of peace. Tokayev then expressed his gratitude to President Vučić for the invitation, and that the Kazakh delegation was very warmly welcomed. He also emphasized the importance of strengthening the ties between the two countries, as well as the fact that relations between Serbia and Kazakhstan are developing and will continue to develop. That, as Tokayev said, is essential.

We reached a large number of important agreements with Serbia, and special attention was given to investments in industry, new technologies, mining, Tokayev said.

He reminded that Serbia, for which he is sincerely grateful, sent aid to Kazakhstan when the country was hit by catastrophic floods. Our positions have been agreed at the geopolitical level, as well as our positions, and today's talks have shown the intention to expand bilateral relations, said Tokayev, who officially invited the President of Serbia to visit Kazakhstan.
