Vučić completed his visit to Budapest: Important agreements signed; New opportunity to strengthen partnership
President Aleksandar Vučić and the delegation of Serbia ended their visit to Budapest tonight, and Vučić was seen off at the airport by Minister of Justice Tuzon Bence.
Today, Vučić, together with members of the Government of Serbia, attended the session of the Strategic Council for Cooperation between Serbia and Hungary, and also had a bilateral meeting with the Prime Minister of Hungary, Viktor Orbán.
Vučić and Orbán signed the Joint Political Declaration between the two countries, and six more cooperation agreements. This is the second session of the Strategic Council for Cooperation between Serbia and Hungary, and the first session attended by the presidents, prime ministers and members of the two governments was held in June 2023 in Palić.
Agreements were then signed for cooperation in the field of customs, exchange of information, development of road infrastructure, defense and internal affairs.
Agreements were also signed on the construction of an oil pipeline that will connect the refinery in Novi Sad with Hungary, as well as an agreement on the establishment of a joint venture between Srbijagas and the Hungarian electricity company MVM.
After that session, it was said that the relations between the two countries are at a historical high and that they can count on each other.

President of the Republic of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, attended the dinner organized by the President and Prime Minister of Hungary, Sulyok Tamás and Viktor Orbán.
