Vučić: "This morning, I was at the saddest place, where Sara, Valentina and their grandfather were burried"

Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić visited the place in Kovilj this morning where six-year-old Sara, ten-year-old Valentina and fifty-three-year-old Djordje were buried, who lost their lives in the fall of a canopy in Novi Sad.

"This morning I was at the saddest place in Serbia, at the place where six-year-old Sara, ten-year-old Valentina and fifty-three-year-old Djordje were buried. The pain of a mother and father for their children, the sobs of a sister for a brother tore the sky over Kovilj this morning. It has been seven days since the terrible tragedy in Novi Sad. The pain of families who have lost their loved ones is indescribable. We, the citizens of Serbia, also grieve for the fourteen victims. I want to thank Ana and Novi Sad Mayor Djurić for being with me. Once again, on behalf of the state of Serbia and on my own behalf, I express my condolences to all the families of the tragic victims in Novi Sad," wrote Vučić.
