Hungarian President received a ceremonial welcome; The tete-a-tete meeting between Vučić and Sulyok started
The "tete-a-tete" meeting between the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, and the President of Hungary, Tamás Sulyok, began in the "Serbia" Palace.
After that, there will be a plenary meeting of the delegations of Serbia and Hungary, which will be led by the two presidents.
They will then make statements to the media. President of Hungary Tamás Sulyok was welcomed today with the highest state honors by President Aleksandar Vučić in front of the "Serbia" Palace.
The ceremonial welcome was arranged with the singing of the national anthems of Hungary and Serbia and the honor guard of the Serbian Armed Forces.
Ministers Goran Vesić and Tomislav Momirović also attended the reception of the President of Hungary.
Then, around 3:00 p.m., the two presidents will visit Čurug, where they will lay wreaths at the Reconciliation Monument, which was erected in memory of the innocent Hungarian victims who died in 1945.
Vučić and Sulyok will also lay wreaths in the Museum of the Raid Victims "Topalov Magacin" in Čurug, and in Žablje, a blessing of the restored Catholic Church of Our Lady of the Snows will be organized, followed by an address by the two presidents.
During his visit to Serbia, Sulyok will meet with Prime Minister Miloš Vučević, and he will also talk with the President of the Serbian Parliament, Ana Brnabić.
President of Hungary arrived in Serbia on Sunday evening, and in Palić he met with the President of the Association of Vojvodina Hungarians, Balint Pastor.
