Vučić: "I will fight until the last moment for Kosovo and Metohija"; Important visits follow

Vučić said that Serbia made decisions about the European path a long time ago.

"That road has been going on since 2000, whatever you call it. People are fed up with everything. I saw a few days ago what people in Serbia think, even though they don't know exactly what BRICS means," said Vučić.

"I wanted to inform the citizens of Serbia, I said that in September and October I would talk to more than 50 presidents and prime ministers, and so far I have talked to 71. By the end of October, there will be more than 90," Vučić pointed out.

President of Serbia stated that we have to do much more by December 2026.

"We have to try to do important things on the European road. I am one of the few leaders in the world who is allowed to talk to President Putin. Then President Macron called me, yesterday I had a meeting with O'Brien for more than five hours. Everyone in Russia knows that when there is no Aleksandar Vučić or someone who will inherit his policy, that there will be no more Russia in Serbia," said Vučić.

"Tusk's arrival is of great importance, Mitsotakis is also arriving. They are the most important leaders of the People's European Party. Ursula von der Leyen is coming. I am grateful to her that she has been to the villages around Nis twice and does not always have to come to the silk and velvet in Belgrade. Then the Russian Minister of Economy is coming on Saturday".

President of Serbia admitted that European integration is going slowly.

"I cannot agree that they are stuck, but that they are going slowly - they are going slowly. It is not because of the rule of law. If we recognized (the fake state) Kosovo or imposed sanctions on Russia, we would become a member of the EU tomorrow," said Vučić.
 

About the situation on Kosovo and Metohija

From a few days ago, goods from central Serbia can enter Kosovo and Metohija again.

"The Germans and the Americans forced Kurti to accept something. He accepted it pro forma, and the trucks have been waiting for days to enter. Of course, this is good news, but an administrative crossing has been opened," said the President of Serbia.

"It is a lie that there are no Serbian institutions in the north of Kosovo, because the most important ones - health and education - are functioning," said Vučić.

Vučić pointed out that the situation in the north of Kosovo and Metohija is not good.

"Serbia is a small country that manages to fight against the biggest Western powers for Kosovo. In 12 years, I participated in most of the meetings. It is such a tough fight. I will fight until the last moment, as long as I have any influence on the government, I will fight for Kosovo and Metohija," said Vučić.

"The waiting list is a shame for all of us"

"We solve the cataract by the end of January, and all the waiting lists until September or October 2026. It costs a lot, and we hope it will be sooner. By September or October 2026, there won't be a single person on the waiting list for hip and knee," he said.

Vučić said that new elections will be held in December 2026 or in the spring of 2027, but that the opposition will fare much worse than before.

About the US elections 

President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, stated that the former President of the USA and candidate of the Republicans in the upcoming presidential elections, Donald Trump, has been running a successful campaign for the last 10 days.

"I'm not sure that they can change much as far as Serbia is concerned, even though the majority of Serbian citizens support one candidate. I know who would win if the elections were held today, but I don't know what will happen when the elections come."

President of Serbia also spoke about the census in Montenegro and pointed out that Serbia has good relations with Montenegro.

"Unfortunately, we did nothing to them. We will continue to cooperate. The number of Serbs increased by 15.3 percent, the Serbian language is dominant," said Vučić.

About conversation with Putin 

"I spoke with Putin and that's the only reason why I didn't want to make an announcement until I tell the person from whom I received the invitation, President Putin. It's an expression of responsibility. The conversation with Putin was good and meaningful," said Vučić.  

President of Serbia pointed out that he discussed with Putin the celebration of the liberation of Belgrade, as well as the gas arrangement.

"I expect that we will start talking about a long-term arrangement," said Vučić. The President of Serbia said that four ministers will represent Serbia at the BRICS Summit in Kazan.

"I told him that even with that, and without all of this, it would be difficult, but that we would send a delegation consisting of four of our ministers, consisting of the Deputy Prime Minister of Serbia Aleksandar Vulin, Minister Bratislav Gašić, Minister Adrijana Mesarović and Minister Nenad Popović", Vucic said.

"The very second I received President Putin's invitation (for the BRICS summit), I told the Russian ambassador that I had an agreement with Tusk. I also told Putin that if there were no such visits, it would be difficult for me to come for various reasons," said the Serbian president.
