Scheduled session of the UN Security Council on the UNMIK report
On October 30, the Security Council of the United Nations will discuss the new, six-month report of UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres on the work of the UNMIK Mission.
The session of the UN Security Council, which will be held in the afternoon in Central European time, was called by Switzerland, which is presiding over that body this month, it was announced on the UNSC website.
Previously, the member states of the UNSC should receive the report, which will be presented at the session by the special representative of the Secretary General and the head of the United Nations Interim Administration Mission in Kosovo (UNMIK), Caroline Ziade.
Since the adoption of Resolution 1244 of the UN Security Council on June 10, 1999, the UNSC has discussed AP Kosovo four times a year until 2018, three times from 2019, and from 2020 those sessions are held twice a year - in April and October.
The last session where the six-month report was discussed was held on April 22, and Serbia was represented at it by the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić.
