Vučić: I will not attend the session on lithium, because the opposition asked for it
President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, said today that he will not attend the session of the Serbian Parliament on lithium, because the opposition insisted that he doesn't.
After the opening ceremony of the ring road around Gornji Milanovac, answering a journalist's question whether he would attend the session, Vučić said that those who scheduled it said that he was not welcome and that he was not wanted.
"It is not a question of my good will. I longed, wanted and offered to attend it. But the MPs who asked for a discussion on lithium said no, no, no, no. Just not to be present on the topic of lithium. Well, I also went to Mali Zvornik, I was in Loznica for seven days, I was in Ljubovija alone waiting for them to come and talk. They ran away from me like the devil from the cross," said Vučić.
He added that this is because they have no arguments, and that he is always ready to come to the parliament.
"I am always ready to come to the National Assembly, whenever the people's deputies invite me. And I will always defeat them with seriousness, arguments, facts and responsibility. At the same time, and not knowing what our final relationship will be in this matter, I I'm waiting for arguments from some others," said Vučić.
