Vučić spoke from New York: I spoke from the heart, I spoke facts; We will not run away from dialogue

At the beginning of his address, Vučić said that he had important meetings in New York.

"I had many important meetings, with several African presidents, which is extremely important for our country. We expect the president of Angola in January or February. I will continue with the awarding today and tomorrow before we take off. We can do many good things for political and economic cooperation. I'm grateful to my friends from China for their steel friendship," said Vučić.

"I talked with the President of Iran about all the problems, both in the Middle East and our problems. Thank you for supporting the territorial integrity of Serbia," he added.

He also referred to the conversation with Lajcak.

"I also told him how angry and frustrated we are because of everything that was signed in 2013, but they always invent some kind of reasons with the sole aim of expelling the Serbian people from the territory of Kosovo. That was what I said, and Serbia will never run away from dialogue. Unfortunately, I was right about Peter Stano," he pointed out.

"We were also at the award ceremony, I spoke with Elon Musk, the man knew more about Serbia than I expected. I also spoke with the director of Amazon, who will expand their operations in Serbia," he said.

"Many meetings. I am grateful to the citizens of Serbia for their support because of what I said at the UN," he pointed out. He added that he was talking about what the Serbian people feel.

"No one could tell me that I said something untrue. I am the happiest that I spoke the truth and what the Serbian people and citizens of Serbia feel," said Vučić.

"Guterres knows that we are right, he just can't say it. He is a smart and educated man, so he knows it. He doesn't run with statements to flatter those from the West, but of course he can't speak publicly. The representative of Lithuania called for the charter and respect for the UN and territorial integrity, but only in case of Russia and Ukraine, who cares about Serbia," said Vučić.

"You will now have a commemoration of the liberation of Auschwitz. Those who liberated Auschwitz, the Russians, will not be invited. And those, I assume, who created the camp, will be invited. The same goes for you with this: you can take away the state from the Serbs, you are talking about secession," he said and added:

"They all have the protection of the big western countries and think they can do what they want. We live in Europe, culturally, partly historically, and we have to act accordingly. The economy is the key thing."

"Politics is one thing, but it must be in full correlation with economic needs," he pointed out. He also referred to stories from Pristina that the so-called Kosovo authorities should take control of health and education.

"They can come and the police can close schools and kindergartens, but the latter will not happen. We will continue to pay teachers," he said.

He also referred to the opposition's stories that his speech was "chatGPT".

"I have to disappoint them, I wrote the speech. Thank you for assuming my brain being at the level of artificial intelligence. We are a good team for artificial intelligence. I spoke from the heart, I spoke the facts," he added.

"I always try to fight for my country, not to show arrogance. I am not particularly rich, except that I am rich to have three wonderful children," said the president.

About the speeches of world politicians at the UN

"Of all the politicians, I was in the room the longest. I like to take notes," he said.

He mentioned the speech of Erdogan and Biden.

"Everyone has a plan for Ukraine to win, but no one has said when and how," he added.

He pointed out that he noticed that the UN has become a fan camp, but that it must not be the case, as the dialogue should be emphasized.
