Prime Minister Miloš Vučević said today, after a special session of the Government of Serbia, that a conclusion has been reached that mandates activities and measures that all ministries must implement in terms of legal and social economic protection and activities and protection of Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija, as well as our national interests.

"And that is what is directly related to the five areas in which the president spoke, restoring the situation before these unilateral moves by the government of Albin Kurti. It is certainly to declare Kosovo and Metohija as an area of special social protection. It is the further strengthening of Serbian institutions on KiM and their strengthening and not allowing them to be extinguished," Vucevic said.

He pointed out that the formation of a special or special prosecution department that will prosecute all perpetrators of criminal acts related to what is happening in Kosovo and Metohija is very important.

"We want to know the responsibility of everyone who carries out this violence against Serbs, against Serbian property," said Vučević.

Also, a request will be made to the Parliament of Serbia to declare invalid, i.e. illegal, all acts that are contrary to the agreements between the negotiating parties since the promulgation of the so-called Kosovo.

"It means that everything that seemed unilateral, everything that annulled agreements and efforts does not exist for us, it's invalid, non-binding and cannot produce legal effect," said Vučević.

Ministry of Defense was ordered to initiate the procedure of mandatory military service

The Government of Serbia adopted today at a special session a conclusion ordering the Ministry of Defense to urgently initiate the procedure for the return of mandatory military service for a duration of 75 days, said the Prime Minister of Serbia, Miloš Vučević.

"I think that by the end of next week, and the President of Serbia will be invited as commander-in-chief to attend the session of the Government of Serbia, they will adopt a proposal to amend the law by which we abolish the suspension of mandatory military service, but define it for 75 days," he said.

He stated that the idea is for mandatory military service to take effect in the middle of next year. He added that he is moving into the process of defining how young recruits who, for example, graduated from electrical engineering, mechanical and similar schools, can serve military service in the Military Technical Institute and those organizational parts of the Serbian Army and the Ministry of Defense that require greater technical and technological knowledge.

"We will need young men who know how to lead and drive unmanned aerial vehicles, drones, so that they will also have a classic form of military service, but we will also have young men who have a certain profile of school readiness so that they can help the country with their knowledge in the special units of the Serbian Armed Forces and skills," said Vucevic.

Let us remind you that the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, presented last night, during an address to the public at the Palace of Serbia, Serbia's demands and moves in relation to the situation in Kosovo and Metohija, divided into five areas, and pointed out that a global diplomatic campaign will be launched for this purpose and that they will discuss until the end of November with 60 world leaders to whom he will present seven necessary points for progress in the dialogue.

Also, let's remind you, the head of diplomacy, Marko Djurić, announced earlier today that at the session, all ministries should receive tasks from their jurisdiction so that these measures are operationalized as efficiently as possible, so that they are introduced faster and better on the ground, and so that support and assistance reach the people as soon as possible.
