The arrested Serbian youths were sentenced to house arrest

After a hearing that lasted more than three hours, they were ordered to house arrest.

Citizens gathered in front of the court, with a noticeably increased presence of the police, and among those gathered were the parents of the arrested young men who, as they say, were told by the police to disperse.

After the request of the policemen, the citizens began to disperse, and only the media crews and the relatives of the arrested young men remained in front of the courthouse.

The young men were arrested when they were returning from the celebration, on suspicion of an alleged attack on an official while performing his duties.

In the video that appeared on social networks, you can see how a member of the so-called Kosovo police, armed with a rifle, brutally arrests one of the Serbian youths.

Earlier today, a large number of citizens gathered in front of the police station in North Mitrovica to protest this arrest.

"The court then told us that they would not pronounce the verdict until the people dispersed. Only the families were allowed to stay," Sonja, the mother of one of the arrested young men, told Blic.
