Summing up the previous week, Lajčak stated on Facebook that, after the Bled Strategic Forum, he stayed in Pristina to prepare for the next meeting of the main negotiators in Brussels.

The EU special envoy did not specify the date of his planned visit to Belgrade. He added that, during his stay in Pristina, he discussed recent events during the summer, the agenda of the next meeting of the main negotiators and approaches to solving some current issues, as well as the next steps towards the implementation of the Agreement on the Road towards the normalization of relations.

"Next, I will go to Serbia also to prepare for the next meeting within the dialogue on the normalization of relations between Kosovo and Serbia," said Lajcak.

Lajčak reminded that last week he participated in the Bled Strategic Forum, where leaders from all over Europe gathered to discuss urgent global challenges.

He added that the future of the EU in the Western Balkans was highlighted in many different formats, from openings to specialized panels and a discussion led by Slovenian Foreign Minister Tanja Fajon.

"Engaging in thoughtful discussions with politicians, policymakers, diplomats and experts, we explored ways to strengthen security, regional cooperation and EU integration in the Western Balkans," said Lajcak.
