The visit will begin with a tour of the works on the reconstruction of the road Bojić - Tekeriš at 11:15 a.m., announced the Presidency of Serbia.

During his stay, Vučić will talk to citizens, participate in various events and visit several villages, municipalities and cities.

He previously announced that in the first half of September, he will move the office of the President of the Republic to Podrinje, where he will also receive foreign officials.

Vučić said that he will visit municipalities from several districts and part of the Kolubara and Zlatibor districts, as well as that it is necessary to open a broad debate on lithium mining.

"I will visit all Podrinje municipalities from several districts. Therefore, I will also visit part of Kolubara district, I will also visit part of Zlatibor district, Bajina Bašta, all the way to Kostojević, Bačevac and Rogačica. I will also visit Ljubovija, of course, I will visit the largest part of the Mačva district, maybe without Šabac, but all these other smaller places. So, from Koceljeva, Bogatić, Vladimirci, Mali Zvornik to Loznica, Krupanj. So, I will visit Radjevina, Jadar, everything," said Vučić.

Minister of Construction, Goran Vesić, previously announced that the Šabac-Loznica expressway will be completed and put into traffic by the end of the year. He stated that about 80 percent of the works on the construction of this 55-kilometer long road have been completed.

He said that the complete expressway from Ruma to Loznica is 78.5 kilometers long and reminded that its first section from Ruma to Šabac was opened on October 14 last year.

"The works started on June 19, 2020 and will be completed at the end of this year, and they are being carried out by Azvirt. When it comes to the Slepčević-Badovinci section, it is 15.3 km long, and the value of the works is 87.2 million. The deadline for the completion of that section is the end of 2026," he said.

He reiterated that this road is part of the larger infrastructure project Novi Sad-Ruma-Šabac-Loznica.

"When it is completed, it will take about 30 minutes from Šabac to Loznica, about 75 minutes from Loznica to Belgrade on a modern road, and from 2026, when we finish the Fruška Gora Corridor from Loznica to Novi Sad, it will take about an hour. It was just a dream until now. We are connecting Srem with Western Serbia and Podrinje with Belgrade," said Vesić.

The minister also pointed out that after the opening of the Šabac-Loznica section by the end of the year, the construction of the extension of that road to Mali Zvornik, about 20 km long, will follow.
