Academician Cvetković withdrew from ProGlas: Why are you lying to people about lithium? VIDEO
Vladica Cvetković, founder of the opposition ProGlas, full professor of the Faculty of Mining and Geology, full member of SANU and one of the biggest mining experts in Serbia, in an interview with Radar, attacked all conspiracy theories about lithium mining.
After this interview, Cvetković was banned from all opposition media and withdrew himself from ProGlas, which continued to support protests based on lies.
"If you say in a public space that 300,000 people will be evicted from an area where three to four times less people live, or if you say that Valjevo, Arandjelovac, Gornji Milanovac will be next, that it will spread like COVID, that is terribly irresponsible because you say it without public discussion to people who know nothing about it. I know for sure that 300,000 will not move out and that it is complete nonsense. Just as I know that 40 mines cannot be opened in Serbia in the next 150 years, let alone in a few decades. Gathering people in a small town in Šumadija far from Loznica and telling them that they are next for a lithium mine, while there is not even the first step of research on lithium and boron, and every thousandth serious step of research can be regarded as a vague hope for a mine, which means - it's a lie," Cvetković pointed out.
