New details in the "Severina case": "The state has the right to prevent someone from entering" VIDEO
Deputy Prime Minister of Serbia and Minister of Internal Affairs Ivica Dačić spoke about the "Severina case" on TV Prva.
Dacic pointed out that every country has the sovereign right to ban entry into the country without any explanation.
"Let's just see what this is all about... In Croatia, you listen to the radio in your car and go to prison, and that's no problem, I didn't see anywhere that any of them are returning Croatia to the Middle Ages... The police will always have lists of people who are banned from entering the country or have increased surveillance, and those reasons are related to crime and terrorism," said Dacic speaking in "Jutro" on TV Prva.
As he pointed out, these are standard procedures.
"So, I come to America, in the capacity of the minister of foreign affairs, and the officer tells me to wait... I wait 10 minutes, then he says come with me to the immigration office, then they hold me for half an hour and what is that... I'm not Severina, so it doesn't matter to anyone. These are standard procedures applied by every country in the world, for someone I'm a problem, or some of my statements..." said Dacic.
