Vučić wrote this on the X network, along with a video about today's Summit on strategic raw materials in Belgrade.

The released video contains parts of Vučić's speech after today's summit, when he pointed out that the Jadar project is important for Europe and Germany, but that it is most important for the people of Serbia.

"For us, this will represent a turning point, a big change and, I would say, a quantum leap into the future. We have not hidden anything, we do everything transparently and with everything we do, we come before our public, the European and world public. I am proud of that fact and that is why I'm proud of that project. So, we don't want to hide anything from our people. That's the first thing I wanted to say," Vučić said in today's speech.

In the continuation of the video, there is a speech by Vučić about the fact that Serbia will insist and that personally as the President of the Republic, he will fight for the environment and for the life of the Serbs in Jadar and Radjevina, so that their air, land and water remain clean.

"Protection of the environment is essential for us. Point three, I want to say that we believe in the enormous economic progress of our country. Serbia will be a reliable partner, I congratulate the citizens of Serbia, they will benefit the most from this and we will be able to do it," stated Vučić at today's summit.

Earlier today in the Palace of Serbia, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the EU and Serbia on a strategic partnership on sustainable raw materials, battery production chains and electric vehicles.

The memorandum of understanding on critical raw materials between the EU and Serbia, in the presence of the representative of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić and the German chancellor Olaf Scholz, was signed in the Palace of Serbia by the Minister of Mining and Energy of Serbia Dubravka Djedović Handanović and the Vice President of the European Commission and the European Commissioner for Inter-Institutional Relations and Strategic Foresight Maroš Šefčovič.
