Vučić welcomed Scholz: "We'll consider the future of Serbia and opening of new opportunities for our country"
German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and his delegation arrived tonight for a visit to Belgrade, and President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, met him at the "Nikola Tesla" airport.
In addition to President Vučić, the reception was also attended by the President of the National Assembly Ana Brnabić, the Minister of Mining and Energy Dubravka Djedović Handanović, the Ambassador of Germany in Belgrade Anke Konrad, as well as the Ambassador of Serbia in Berlin Snežana Janković.
When entering the airspace of Serbia, Scholz's plane was met by two fighter pairs of MiG-29 RV and PVO of the Serbian Armed Forces, and a red carpet and honor guard of the Serbian Armed Forces were laid out to welcome the German chancellor and the delegation at the airport.
"Welcome to Belgrade. Tomorrow is a big day, during which we will discuss the future of Serbia and the opening of new opportunities for our country and people. I expect agreements that will represent a turning point for Serbia on its path to even faster economic growth," Vučić said on his Instagram account.

Više javno tužilaštvo u Novom Sadu saopštilo je da uhapšeno i zadržano ukupno 11 lica povodom tragedije u Novom Sadu kada je prilikom pada nadstrešnice na Železničkoj stanici Novi Sad. Među njima se nalazi Goran Vesić.
