"Gendarme Miloš Jevremović is the embodiment of all the virtues that we expect from everyone who protects our country," said the President of Serbia.

"The man who committed this crime is similar to all those from America and Europe, who think they are leaving some mark. They all have one thing in common - they think they are popular, they are stars, and they present their plans through video clips. That's why we need people who protect the order and all the people in our country. Miloš's reaction was professional. He saved the facility and the people for whose safety he was responsible," said Vučić.

President of Serbia pointed out that in the face of terrorism in the world, we must strengthen our forces.

"People like Miloš will be the ones we rely on in that fight. Our task is to make Serbia one of the safest countries in the world, to make our streets safe," said Vučić.

"I also want to thank your family, Miloš, your commanders and superior officers, everyone in the MIA, everyone who supported you. I wish we had more peacekeepers like this and the future and security of our country. I am fully convinced that we will succeed in this. Thank you Miloš, this is the least that the state of Serbia can do for you," said Vučić and added:

"Our task is a safe and secure Serbia".

"I stand before you with honor and pride. This recognition means a lot not only to me but also to all members of the Gendarmerie and Ministry of Internal Affairs. I would like to thank the family, the president, the minister, the doctors. Courage and self-sacrifice are qualities that I will continue to carry. With faith in God, long live Serbia," said Miloš Jevremović.

Just to recall that on June 29, Miloš Jevremović was wounded by an arrow in the neck during a terrorist act and thereby prevented an attack on the Israeli Embassy in Belgrade.
