Vučić: We will be clearer in our messages to any potential aggressor of our country
President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, speaks after the session of the extended collegium of the Chief of the General Staff at the "Banjica 2" barracks in Belgrade.
"We have many challenges, great forces are gathered in the region. We are counting on good cooperation with KFOR," said Vučić, after the collegium session.
"What we noticed is that the actions of manned aircraft and unmanned aircraft and drones in the environment with reconnaissance intentions towards Serbia, without crossing the border of Serbia, and this was intensified from all directions in the direction of Serbia. We noticed the raising of Albanian flags from Djakovica with with the intention of scouting the positions of the Serbian army," he added and continued:
"We will continue rapidly and we will have to change our habits, to work harder and better, to be clearer in the message of deterring any potential aggressor against our country. Our dedicated infrastructure factories will have to work better, to engage in hard work. We will have to further increase the manpower in the army, in the positions of those who can carry a rifle and help the country."
"We invest a lot of money, the salaries of our soldiers are never higher. Very significant salaries, the state invests a lot of money and we ask for the highest level of commitment. Serbia wants peace, it will always want peace, and in order to preserve it, we must have a strong army that will deter any of the potential enemies," the President of Serbia pointed out.
Vučić answered a question about the Croatian media's writing about him
"Whenever Serbia would raise its head, whenever Serbia would not be humiliated, whenever Serbia would not agree to serve other people's interests, but to carry out self-punishment, to agree to the phantasmagorical cataclysms that it has to go through due to allegedly criminal behavior, whenever Serbia rises economically, it would represent a political factor that is not insignificant, and if the politicians would not say "sorry for killing us", they would write more articles about me than about their president and prime minister together. This speaks of their obsession, but it also speaks of to me, not doing so badly fighiting for our country," said the President of Serbia.
