Vučić's strong message: President of Serbia asked the US Embassy in BiH - "Where does it say?" VIDEO
President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, took to Instagram and sent a strong message to the US Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
As he said, he was interested in the criticism of the All-Serbian Assembly by the U..S Embassy in Sarajevo.
"I was very interested in the criticism of our partners from the American Embassy in Sarajevo regarding the All-Serbian Assembly held on Saturday, which was very successful. It seems to me to be well organized and to the joy of our people. However, I said that I would ask some questions. You heard, many times, both in Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, and in the entire region, one phrase that reads 'the spirit of the Dayton Agreement.' we are only a signatory, and if the 'spirit' of that signature meant exactly that, I would not even deal with it, and I will tell you the most specific question for those who said that we violated the Dayton Agreement, for our partners from the American Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina," said Vučić.
Then he added: "Namely, the Dayton Peace Agreement regulates the competences of the central authorities and the entities. My first question for them is - how, where and since when does it say that the property belongs to the central authorities and not to the entities. Namely, in Article 3.3 of the Constitution of Bosnia and Herzegovina, annex four of the Dayton Agreement, it is stipulated that all state functions of authority that are not expressly assigned to the institutions of BiH belong to the entities. And Article 3.1 lists the competences of the institutions of BiH, foreign policy, foreign trade policy, customs policy, monetary policy, financing of institutions of international obligations of BiH, immigration policy, refugees, implementation of criminal laws, relations with Interpol, international communication, traffic between entities and air traffic control.
As you can see, there is no mention of public property. Please, dear partners from the American Embassy, give me a concrete answer you came to the conclusion and on the basis of what and which act that the property belongs to the central authorities and not to the entities, as it is clearly written in the Dayton Agreement, and because of which, among other things, you participated in causing the crisis in the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
At the same time, I expect you to answer me, as you have already said on several occasions, that it has to do with the 2001 succession agreement that came into force in 2004. I will tell you right away, don't answer in that manner, because it would be immediate. Succession regulates the rights and obligations of member states created on the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and not how public property will be distributed within one of the member states created by the dissolution of the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia.
So, please respond to this one simple question, and so very important, that you insist on, and I am very happy that you have accepted this reasoned, civilized and without any insults, a good discussion and I am confident that you will provide me with an answer. So where does it say that? That is my question and I look forward to your answer".
