"For more than a year, the terrible pressures related to elections lasted," said Vučić.

"We had the majority even after December 17 in Belgrade. But we felt that this was not enough legitimacy because some others did not want to form a coalition with us. Now we will have 62 or 63 mandates, instead of 54 as was the case in December," he added.

"In Belgrade, we will have 52% of the votes cast. In Pećinci, 86% of the votes," he added. "Incredibly convincing victory in Novi Sad, 45 mandates and 53% of votes in Novi Sad," said Vučić.

He said that Niš was the most difficult political game.

"In Niš, it was the most difficult political game. We will probably have three more mandates for the majority there. It will be 32 to 29. My proposal will be to discuss in Niš and see how the problems can be solved in the future. One list of a group of citizens even received 22 percent of the votes, it is Dr. Milić, it is not the opposition party. We must respect that," said Vučić.

"In Subotica, we got almost 50% of the votes, and our partners from SVM 27%," continued President of Serbia.

"We think that two municipalities in Belgrade are interesting, in all others we will certainly have a majority. Possibly 16, in Vračar there is only one mandate up or down."

He also addressed the opposition's attacks and criticism of call centers.

"It was sad to see attacks on telephone centers. Not only is it normal in all European countries, but it is desirable, our opponents are also doing it. The only question that can be asked is whether we paid the rent, everything else is a shame for that who questions that," he said.

Vučić adds that the ruling majority has serious work to do, primarily work on the preparation of the EXPO.

"We have 81 percent of the votes in Beočin, 68 percent in Vršac. Grocka 70 percent of the votes, in Bečej 81 percent together with the Hungarians. In Bosilegrad 95.9, out of one hundred percent counted," Vučić said, and was greeted with applause.

Hard work and many problems are ahead of us, he said.

"Terrible problems, concerning the foreign policy situation. We must protect our country, peace and freedom. I would also ask you to extend a hand to our political opponents. To show respect for them. To think three times in Nis whether you want to rule alone and how you will rule. It's not a result like in Belgrade and Novi Sad. You had a lot of money invested against us. Again, I'm grateful to the residents of Nis for the victory," Vučić said.

I have to say a big thank you to the citizens of Serbia, said Vučić.

"When we accepted that the elections will be held on June 2, I am very grateful to Ana Brnabić for agreeing to reduce tensions, and I ask her to continue that work in the future. I helped to get three more years, to show people what we can do. Let's raise the country, let's be proud of it. You have time to celebrate tonight, but not to be arrogant," Vučić told SNS members.

After his address, Vučić also thanked the citizens of Serbia on Instagram:

Just to recall, shortly after 9:00 p.m., the president of SNS and Prime Minister of Serbia Miloš Vučević announced the first results from the election headquarters of SNS and said that the party won a convincing victory.
