The real intention was to dismember Serbia in order to achieve America's goals. And those goals, he says, are the creation of the so-called Kosovo, where America could build the largest base in Southeast Europe.

"We bombed Belgrade for 78 days. Bad move. Absolutely. We bombed a capital of Europe for 78 days", he told American journalist Tucker Carlson.

When asked what was the point of that, Sachs responded: "The point of that was to break Serbia in two, create a new state, Kosovo, where we have the largest NATO military base in southeast Europe. We put Bondsteel base there because we wanted a base in southeastern Europe", said Sachs adding that USA didn't like Serbia and ironically stated "We're the sole superpower. We do what we want".

Carlson followed that up with a question: "So that was 1990, the goal wasn't to save the oppressed muslim population?", to which Sachs gave a clear answer: "It was very much to save the military industrial complex, to have a nice location in southeastern Europe".

The well-known host then stated that their forces were killing innocent citizens and wrecking cities.

"You know, it was a little bit sad, but we do lots of sad things and lots of destructive things, lots of wars. We're the country of perpetual war. We don't look back. We're not even supposed to talk about this".
