Hungary clearly says: We will vote against the resolution on Srebrenica
Hungary will vote against the resolution on Srebrenica, said Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó.
At the press conference after the meeting with the President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik in Budapest, Szijjártó said that the resolution intentionally or unintentionally demonizes the entire Serbian people for the tragedy in Srebrenica.
"Bosnia and Herzegovina has made serious strides on the road to European integration. In March, it was decided to start the negotiation process on joining the EU. It is important that all entities and peoples in BiH make their contribution. The harmony that was created in BiH and that led to the agreement in that regard, it was broken by the unilateral action of an illegitimate High Representative who changed the Election Law on his own. The adoption of a resolution on Srebrenica in the UN can also shake it. We think that it should be stopped by increasing tensions and with those intentions," Szijjártó said.

He assessed that the means to calm tensions is the accession of the Balkans to the EU, RTRS reported.
