The session of the United Nations General Assembly where the resolution on Srebrenica will be considered is scheduled for May 23.
After several postonements, a session of the United Nations General Assembly was scheduled to discuss the resolution on Srebrenica.
As announced on the UN General Assembly website, the session is scheduled for Thursday, May 23.
After two postponements, the resolution was supposed to be on the agenda today. However, the hearing on the issue was postponed for another week.
Serbia's diplomatic mission to prevent the UN General Assembly from adopting a resolution calling the crime in Srebrenica genocide continues.
Otherwise, the resolutions of the UN General Assembly are not binding, but they have political weight and reflect the views of the members of that body on the issue or topic in connection with which they were adopted.
