No voting at a new address for those who changed residence after July 3
MPs of the Assembly of Serbia adopted amendments to the Law on the Unified Electoral Roll.
153 MPs voted in favor of adoption, eight were against, and there were no abstentions out of a total of 161 MPs.
The main change refers to the fact that voters who changed their place of residence after July 3, 2023 will not be able to vote at their new address in the upcoming local and Belgrade elections.
Such an agreement was reached yesterday at the meeting of parliamentary groups on the improvement of election conditions, which was conducted between the government and the opposition in the parliament, and which was presided over by the Speaker of the National Assembly, Ana Brnabić.
