France set the condition on CSM; Kurti sent shameful reply

Speaking at the government session in Pristina, Kurti pointed out that the normalization of relations with Belgrade "will be discussed in Brussels, not in Strasbourg", reports Koha.

"We are faced with a new condition, which has nothing to do with membership. The government does not accept the condition of membership in the Council of Europe involving CSM,'' Kurti said.

Earlier today, the Euractiv portal reported that the German government will most likely insist on the establishment of the CSM before agreeing to the so-called Kosovo joins the Council of Europe.

Koha reported that the French Embassy in Pristina announced that sending the draft of the CSM statute for assessment to the so-called constitutional court of Kosovo provided support to Pristina for admission to the Council of Europe.
