This is how the French media wrote about the meeting between Vučić and Macron: The future of Serbia is in EU
French media write about the visit of Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić to Paris and the meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron. They emphasize Macron's statement that Serbia's future is "in the EU and nowhere else".
"Serbia must not doubt that," Macron said at a joint press conference with Vučić.
Radio "France info" states that Serbia condemned the Russian invasion of Ukraine, but refuses to impose sanctions on Russia and maintains, as it is stated, privileged relations with Moscow, which is why Macron emphasized that Serbia should continue aligning with foreign policy decisions of the European Union.

Radio "Europe 1" also emphasized the statement of the French President about the European future of Serbia.
"Serbia must not doubt, regardless of the recent past, that its future is in the European Union and nowhere else. No changes should make us doubt that path," Macron said.
In addition, it is reported that the French president also spoke about the relationship between Belgrade and Pristina, saying that it is necessary for the two sides to make progress on the road to the normalization of relations.
