Students in the blockade have been blocking RTS since April 14 at 10 p.m., and stated that the blockade will last until a new competition for members of the Council of the Regulatory Body for Electronic Media (REM) is announced or "until RTS is shut down."

Streets around RTS blocked

Streets around RTS are blocked for traffic - Takovska street from Knez Milos to Svetogorska, part of Ilija Garašanin Street, Major Tepić Street, as well as Aberdareva.

The intersection of Takovska and Svetogorska, as well as the intersection of Svetogorska and Ilija Garašanin, are still blocked with containers, and containers are also placed in Takovska Street near the RTS building and the Main Post Office.

Due to the blockade of the state media public brodacaster building on Košutnjak, traffic was stopped in Knez Višeslav Street.

RTS announced that due to the blockade, it broadcasts the program according to a modified scheme and that employees with great efforts realize and air informative, cultural and other television programs, despite the illegal blockade of the building, studio, broadcast and other equipment and the persecution of journalists and cameramen in the field.

The public service is not broadcasting the morning program this morning either.

Both the main and side entrances to RTS are blocked.
