Vucic in Paris; Today with Macron
The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, will meet today in the Elysee Palace with the President of France, Emmanuel Macron, at whose invitation he is making an official visit to that country.
It is planned that the two presidents will speak at a joint conference that will be held in the Elysee Palace, followed by a gala dinner that Macron is hosting for President Vučić.

After singing the national anthem, Vučić entered the Les Invalides, (House of Invalids), where he laid a wreath under the plaque to the Serbian soldiers.
On the plaque "Loyalty for Loyalty" it says in French:
"In honor of the Serbian army, the heroic ally of France in the Great War, and for the Serbian fighters who died for France in the joint fight against the Nazi occupation.

This will be followed by private talks.
It will be their 20th meeting so far, and President Vučić, on the eve of this meeting, assessed that it might be the most important meeting in the last three decades for our country.
"This will be the most important, it will be a strategic meeting, I think the French have prepared for it and we are getting prepared," said Vučić.
As he announced, 14 topics will be discussed. Among the main topics are European integration, the issue of the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina, the entry of the so-called Kosovo into the Council of Europe, the strengthening of bilateral cooperation, EXPO 2027, the IT sector, artificial intelligence, agriculture, dedicated industry and defense, as well as nuclear energy.
When it comes to dedicated industry and defense, President Vučić will discuss it separately with Macron, but also with French Defense Minister Sébastien Lecornu, whom he will meet with on Tuesday.
He stated that he will discuss the purchase of 12 Rafal fighter jets with the management of Dassault.
Also, today he will talk with the representatives of the French electricity company (EDF), after which Finance Minister Siniša Mali will sign a Memorandum of Understanding with the French electricity company on establishing a framework for long-term dialogue in the field of energy transition and low-carbon technology.
When it comes to nuclear energy, Serbia wants to establish closer cooperation with France, considering that France is the leading country when it comes to nuclear energy in Europe and the world, 70 percent of its electricity is obtained from nuclear reactors.
During the day, President Vučić will also meet with the President of the French Senate, the upper house of the French Parliament, Gérard Larcher.
Today, he will also lay a wreath on the memorial plaque "Loyalty for Loyalty" in the Palace of the Invalids, in memory of the historical friendship between Serbia and France.
"Loyalty for loyalty: in honor of the Serbian army, the heroic ally of France in the Great War, and for the Serbian fighters who died for France in the joint fight against the Nazi occupation", is written on this commemorative plaque, which celebrates the alliance of the Serbian and French peoples in two world wars.
On the second day of his two-day official visit to Paris, President Vučić will talk with representatives of the French business association Movement of French Entrepreneurs - MEDEF International, as well as with representatives of French companies, who have expressed great interest in this meeting.
By the way, France is one of the leading investors in Serbia, where it has 120 companies and employs more than 12,000 workers.
