Djukić Dejanović: Teaching takes place in 96 percent of schools, only one primary school is blocked
Minister of Education Slavica Djukić Dejanović said today that 96 percent of schools in Serbia are open, while one elementary school near Pancevo is blocked and several high schools in larger cities are closed.

She was hosted on Radio-Television of Serbia and said that the situation is better than in previous months.
According to her, educational institutions have created a compensation plan so that working teachers "jump in" instead of those who are not working.
"Teachers who are working can work 30 percent more and earn extra money, this is an additional form of motivation (...) Principals can turn to us for help if they don't have teachers to teach classes, we will send teachers from some neighboring schools," said the minister.
