Ministry of Education: Non-teaching staff at faculties will receive entire February salary by the end of March
Non-teaching staff in higher education institutions will receive full amount of salary provided from the republican budget until the end of March for February, in accordance with the Special Collective Agreement for Higher Education, according to the Ministry.
In the letter sent by the Ministry of Education to higher education institutions founded by the Republic of Serbia, and which Tanjug had access to, it is stated, among other things, that savings for teaching staff in the amount of 50 percent of the salary for the previous month were transferred to the faculties, considering that they performed scientific research work, but not teaching.
Namely, in accordance with the current regulation, a teacher, that is, a teaching assistant, during full-time work, prepares and performs teaching and scientific research work.

The letter concludes that in case the higher education institution needs to correct the calculation and payment of the February salaries of the teaching staff, it can do so during the next calculation and payment of the March salaries of the employed teaching staff.
