GSP: Due to twenty people, 280 vehicles did not go to the streets of Belgrade; Šapić: When anarchy takes hold

This morning at 2:20 a.m., a group of about twenty students of the Faculty of Agriculture and citizens blocked two sections of GSP "Belgrade", according to the announcement.

Because of this, 150 buses and 130 trams did not enter the streets of the city this morning, it added.

"The exits from the garages of the 'Novi Beograd' bus traffic facility and the 'Central' tram traffic facility were blocked. On that occasion, 150 buses and 130 trams did not go into regular traffic. In this way, we were prevented from providing passenger transport services on 16 bus and 10 tram lines. The blockade was carried out by a small group of citizens with a disabled passenger vehicle. The Ministry of Internal Affairs was informed about the aforementioned blockade", it was announced from PUK GSP 'Belgrade'.

Šapić: When anarchy takes hold, then the state ceases to exist

The mayor of Belgrade, Aleksandar Šapić, said that this morning more than 280 GSP vehicles did not enter the streets of Belgrade because around 20 blockaders decided to stop them.

"As I announced a long time ago, when anarchy takes hold, then the state ceases to exist, and everything impossible becomes possible without any responsibility. Of course, everything was reported to the police, and it is up to the people of Belgrade to "patiently" wait for twenty of them to have mercy and allow public transport to function again. Good luck to all of us, this is a new reality," said Šapić.
