Vučić with Marta Kos in Brussels: Preparation for important talks with Ursula von der Leyen PHOTO
President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, arrived in Brussels today, and first he met with the European Commissioner for Neighborhood and Enlargement, Marta Kos.

"Correct and meaningful conversation with Commissioner Kos about current events in Serbia, fulfilling our reform agenda, speeding up the process of accession negotiations and implementation of the European Growth Plan for the Western Balkans.
I pointed out the importance we attach to reform activities in the country, primarily with the aim of ensuring a better life for our citizens, with an emphasis on the areas of rule of law, economic competitiveness and social inclusion.
I thanked the Europeancommission for supporting the European path and development of Serbia and expressed the expectation that our progress and efforts in this direction will be recognized by the member countries and result in a faster process of integration with the EU. I reiterated that Serbia remains committed to fulfilling its obligations when it comes to implementing the Growth Plan, as well as strengthening cooperation and stability in the region, but also protecting international law and its national interests.
This meeting was also a preparation for important talks with President @ursulavonderleyen @europeancommission, which are waiting for me in a couple of days," wrote Vučić on Instagram.
Vučić and Kos met in Brussels in December last year and on that occasion discussed the acceleration of Serbia's European path, the implementation of the European Growth Plan for the Western Balkans, the situation in Serbia, reform activities and results.
Last September, Marta Kos was elected European Commissioner for Neighborhood and Enlargement, replacing Olivér Várhelyi.
After the meeting with the European Commissioner for Enlargement and Neighborhood, Vučić will have a separate meeting with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte.
Vučić had previously announced that he would meet with Rutte in Brussels.
"We both noted the importance of responsible and serious behavior in the region and emphasized that the preservation of peace is the priority interest of all people living in the region," Vučić said at the time and added that he conveyed to Rutte his views on Kosovo and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija, Petar Petković, arrived in Brussels with President Vučić.
