Vučić congratulated the construction of such a facility and said that he was very happy.

"You can always count on Serbia", Vučić addressed the audience, and added that it is a miracle that Serbia's attitude towards Srpska has never been as it is today.

"I am very happy that you have built a facility like this, and as far as Serbia is concerned, you can always count on it. It must and can be even better in the future. I am happy to be in Slatina, I have never been here," he said.

President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik said that he is proud because this facility was built with RS own funds.

"We are proud of the fact that we built this facility with our own funds. The most important thing here is the staff, who are widely known for their quality. I am proud that we are finishing things. This is the pride of all of us. I want there to be as many facilities as possible, but as little work as possible. It will be recorded that President Vučić will be at this opening," said Dodik.

Serbian Health Minister Zlatibor Lončar congratulated the "magnificent facility".

"We are getting older and we will need these facilities more and more. You can count, as long as Aleksandar Vučić leads Serbia, on all the resources that Serbia has," Lončar said.

Alen Šeranić, Minister of Health, said that it is a modern hospital facility.

"Our meeting at Sretenje is a sign of development. The investment is significant. All those who worked at the Institute have shown that they have vision and responsibility. We express our greatest gratitude to those who have a vision for such projects. Continue on the path of development," says Šeranić.

Goran Talić, director of the "Miroslav Zotović" Institute, says that these are great moments.

"It is a privilege to lead a strong and complex team. It is an even greater obligation to give back to the people and the state what they deserve. As before, I will do everything to make this institution justify everyone's trust," Talić said.

The new facility of the Orthopedic Surgery Clinic is located in Slatina, near the facilities of the Institute's spa complex, on the site of the former Slateks Hotel.

The new facility of the Clinic for Orthopedic Surgery covers a gross area of ​​5,100 square meters, and has 4,000 square meters of usable area. The total value of the project was about 38 million convertible marks, of which the Government of the Republic of Srpska invested 23 million KM, and the rest was provided by the "Dr. Miroslav Zotović" Institute.

The new facility is equipped with the most modern medical equipment. The orthopedic facility has 59 patient beds, as well as four modernly equipped operating rooms, four outpatient clinics.

The diagnostic part contains a digital X-ray, an apparatus for standard nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), an apparatus for musculoskeletal NMR, an apparatus for osteodensitometry (measurement of bone density) and a laboratory.

Over 2,000 surgeries are performed annually at the Orthopedic Surgery Clinic, the majority of which relate to hip replacements (around 550), knee replacements (around 600), and knee and shoulder arthroscopic surgeries (around 400).

Like the other facilities within the "Dr. Miroslav Zotović" Institute at the location of Slatina and Srpska Toplica, the orthopedics facility for heating and cooling fully uses geothermal energy from thermomineral water.
