"We are one and indivisible people"
Serbian member and chairman of the BiH Presidency Željka Cvijanović said today on the occasion of the first joint celebration of Sretenje that the Republika Srpska and Serbia will continue to strengthen fruitful cooperation in all areas, without endangering anyone else, respecting as before all acts of domestic and international law.
"I congratulate the Presidents of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić and the President of the Republic of Srpska, Milorad Dodik, citizens of Serbia and Srpska, as well as all Serbs wherever they live, on the Statehood Day of Serbia and the Statehood Day of the Republic of Srpska," Cvijanović said in a post on Instagram.
Cvijanović, who is at the Munich Security Conference, points out that "this great holiday reminds us of the courage of Karadjordje and the insurgents of 1804, as well as the vision of those who enacted the first Serbian constitution in 1835, laying the foundations of modern Serbian statehood."
"We are one and indivisible people, with a common tradition and culture, values and identity, past and future. We will continue to strengthen our fruitful cooperation in all areas, without endangering anyone else, respecting as before all acts of domestic and international law. Let Sretenje be a symbol of the courage and wisdom of our ancestors, but also a lasting inspiration for all future exploits. Long live our homeland, Serbia and Republika Srpska," stated Cvijanović and added "long live our proud and libertarian nation".

The meeting will be followed by a meeting of two delegations, led by Vučić and Dodik, and the presidents will also hold a joint media conference.
