Inspectors who issued a work permit to the nursing home in Barajevo where 13 people died have been arrested
In the Ministry of Labour, Employment, Social Affairs and Veteran Affairs, the arrest of several officials of the ministry is in progress as part of a major campaign to combat corruption.

According to unofficial information, the police, on the order of the Higher Public Prosecutor's Office in Belgrade, are arresting inspectors who, by abusing their powers, enabled the "Ivanović" nursing home in Barajevo to operate and extend its work permit, even though it did not meet the prescribed conditions.
A fire broke out in this nursing home last month, in which eight users of the home lost their lives and another 13 users were injured, as a result of which three owners of the home were arrested, and the investigation against them is ongoing before the High Prosecutor's Office in Belgrade.
Let's recall that this is the continuation of a major action in which the state will deal with those who are involved in any form of corruption.
On Wednesday, February 12, the mentioned action was started and 15 people were arrested, including the president of the municipality of Obrenovac and the former CEO of the national power company EPS Milorad Grcic.
