It will be the first time that the boy leaves the psychiatric clinic after the crime on May 3, 2023.

The boy killer will be brought to the court in an ambulance, accompanied by a psychiatrist. In the courtroom, he will be placed in a glass, closed cubicle for protected witnesses. That way, the boy will be able to see everything, but no one will see him.

The judge, the accused, the lawyers, the families of the victims, will listen to him through the loudspeaker and watch through the monitor, and the psychiatrist will observe the boy while he is testifying and will be able to eventually intervene and ask for a break.

The psychiatrist will also say if the boy has medical conditions that prevent him from testifying.

Biljana Ćulafić, pedagogue and psychotherapist, tells "Blic" that there are no surprises in the approach when it comes to the testimony of the boy-murderer.

"This is a regular procedure when it comes to a minor. The idea is that he should be protected in some way. This does not protect the parents of the victims, this also protects the child, considering his age. So I am not surprised," said Ćulafić.

When asked if he thinks it's fair that the parents of murdered children don't see the killer boy for the first time after the crime, he says that's a question for them.

"Perhaps it would somehow be easier for them to see that face. Usually, those who have committed such murders, do not show any empathy and they could not expect, God knows what, I believe that the face of the killer boy be quite cool and calm."

Ćulafić says that he believes that the psychiatrist who will accompany the boy will be in charge of monitoring whether it is too much stress for the boy-killer.

"It's just going to monitor his mental state. Whether or not he can answer the questions clearly. He might have some sort of panic attack because now he's not the killer boy who's popular, he's the boy killer who has to face with what he had done. Even if it was by responding to how his parents acted and how that shooting teacher of his, as they would call him, trained shooting", says Ćulafić.

When asked if it would be a challenge for her to personally accompany the boy-killer, the guest says:

"The professional challenge would be great for me, because I believe that he will not shy away from any manipulation to get things going, he may even try to escape," said Ćulafić.
