Jurić: There is no new evidence in case of the murder of Danka Ilić, I am afraid the accused will be released
The Higher Public Prosecutor's Office in Zaječar filed an indictment yesterday against S.J. and D.D. for the serious murder of the girl Danka Ilić and suggested that they be sentenced to life imprisonment.
The president of the Center for Missing and Abused Children, Igor Jurić, was a guest of "Jutro" Morning program on TV Prva, where he said that he was unable to find the complete indictment to see if there was any new evidence.
"I came to the conclusion that there isn't anything new that could change the whole case, and that worries me, it seems to me, unfortunately, that this is going in the direction of the case that happened to us in an earlier period, I mean the murder of the singer Jelena Marjanović, it reminds a lot of that case," said Jurić.
He added that he was afraid that due to the lack of evidence, S.J. and D.D. could be released.
"On the other hand, there is still hope that Danka is alive," he added.
