Three key pieces of evidence in the murder of little Danka: Details of the indictment revealed
Witnesses, surveillance cameras, GPS... are three key pieces of evidence against D.D. and S.J. suspects for the murder of Danka Ilić, on March 26 this year in the village of Banjsko Polje near Bor, "Blic" learns.
According to the media, the indictment is based on witnesses who testified that the defendants were at the place where the girl disappeared and was injured, but also on surveillance camera footage that indicated that they were at the time of the girl's disappearance at the place where she was last seen.
"Moreover, the GPS on the official vehicle they were driving that day confirmed that they were on the spot at the time of Danka's disappearance, and this was confirmed by the video from the surveillance camera. Also, their statement they gave to the prosecution, which they later retracted was taken into account because it was given in the presence of their defense attorneys and it is credible," says "Blic" source.
The defendants are charged with the crime of aggravated murder of a child, which is punishable by life imprisonment without parole.
The indictment is also filed against the father of one of the suspects
This morning, the public prosecutor's office in Zaječar filed an indictment against D.D. and S.J., who are suspected of having killed Danka Ilić, a two-year-old girl from Bor.
The indictment was also brought against the defendant R.D., the father of D.D. due to failure to report the crime and providing assistance to the perpetrator after the crime has been committed.
The Prosecution proposed that the defendants D.D. and S.J. prolonged detention by the High Court in Zaječar.
