Danka Ilić's father came forward 10 days before the indictment against the murder suspects
The deadline for indictment against Dejan Dragijević from the village of Zlot and Srdjan Janković from the village of Luka, suspected of having killed Danka Ilić (2), is September 26, so there are still 10 days left for the Higher Public Prosecutor's Office.
On that occasion, Miloš Ilić, the girl's father, spoke out and said that he hoped "that everything will be as it should be" and that charges would be filed.
"I expect justice to be served," he said.
A lot of evidence analyzed
Let us remind you that the police took away from the houses of Dragijević and Janković things that were suspected to have been used during the murder and then the hiding of the girl's body. Wardrobe, shoes, carpet path, tools, cold weapons, chainsaw, axe, two knives for butchering pigs were taken, however, so far, no DNA traces of Danka Ilić have been found on any of the analyzed items.
According to our knowledge, neither human nor animal biological traces were found on the chainsaw, while only traces of animal blood were found on the knives.
However, traces of the blood of two people were found on the ax - a suspect and his relative. When it comes to the blood that was found on the pants of one of the arrested, it is allegedly his blood, as well as the blood that was found in the official car.
The result of the expert examination on March 26, according to our unofficial information, showed that the suspects were moving in a vehicle next to the house, that is, the barn where Danka was with her brother and mother.
Various statements
As "Blic" previously wrote, Dragijević told at the first hearing at the VJT in Zaječar that he was in the passenger seat in the company car "Fiat Panda", while his colleague Srdjan Janković was behind the wheel.
"He admitted that Jankovic hit a girl who was alone on the road with his car, and that he then put her in the back seat of the vehicle and strangled her with his bare hands," our source familiar with the case said earlier.
According to our unofficial knowledge at the time, Dragijević described the crime in detail and admitted his role and revealed Janković's role in the whole crime. However, he did not want to reveal the whereabouts of the girl's body.
"He said that the body was taken to the landfill on Starobanjski put, but that he moved the body two days later, on March 28, and that his father Radoslav and brother Dalibor helped him. He did not reveal the exact location," said our source.
Contrary to Dragijević, Janković defended himself by remaining silent during the interrogation after his arrest, and then, at the beginning of June, he decided that he wanted to speak.
He completely denied having anything to do with the disappearance and murder of the girl from Bor. However, Dragijević then denied that he killed the girl.
One deceased, the other at large
Radoslav Dragijević (73), who is suspected of having helped his son Dejan move the body of two-year-old Danka, was released on May 29, after the end of his two-month detention on suspicion of having committed a criminal offense - helping the perpetrator after the crime criminal act.
From the very beginning, he defended himself by remaining silent, and after leaving custody, he said he had nothing to say.
His son Dalibor was arrested with Radoslav, who died only a day later in the premises of the Bor Police Department. He allegedly admitted before his death that he helped his brother move Danka's body.
Not long after Dalibor's funeral, the mother of the Dragijević brothers, and the wife of Radoslav Dragijević, Svetlana Dragijević, died, whose funeral Dejan and Radoslav attended accompanied by the police.
