Drama in front of the prison because of Blažić: "You're not ashamed? Should we break down the door?"

The parents of the killed and wounded came wearing black T-shirts with the photo of the killed and T-shirts with the words "You live on 5/4/2023".

They came accompanied by their lawyers and the prison guard called them one by one to enter the building.

Drama: The parents are furious, threatening to break down the door

The families of those killed in revolt called the judge of the High Court in Smederevo, who is conducting the proceedings, to appear before them and explain to them why they cannot sit in the courtroom.

"It is about our children, about our murdered children. Since you are not ashamed, let the judge come out and explain," the parents shouted.

As "Blic" writes, the gathered say: "Should we break down the door?!"

The parents threaten to break down the door if someone doesn't come out soon to bring them to trial.

As the Kurir writes, it is not possible for everyone to attend this preliminary hearing, but only seven named family members who received a summons, which caused a revolt on the part of the bereaved families.

Blažić is charged with killing nine and wounding 12 people in the villages of Malo Orašje and Dubona on May 4 last year.

The preliminary hearing is closed to the public, and in addition to the lawyer, the injured parties, that is, the family members of the killed and wounded, will attend it.

In the courtroom, the accused Uroš and his father Radiša Blažić will be separated from those present with glass and bars, thus preventing a repetition of the incident that happened in the courtroom in Smederevo on May 23.

Lawyers, prosecutors, judges and injured parties will sit in the courtroom itself, while the accused will be behind thick glass in a separate part of the room.

In addition to Uroš Blažić, his father Radiša Blažić was also charged in this case, for the criminal offense of illegal production, possession, carrying and marketing of weapons and explosive substances in conjunction with the criminal offense of serious crime against general security.

The preliminary hearing that took place on May 23 was interrupted after the defendants entered the courtroom because the parents of the killed and wounded tried to attack Blažić, which is why members of the judicial guard immediately took Blažić out of the courtroom.

After that, the Supreme Court ordered that the preliminary hearing and the main trial in this case be held outside the area of ​​the High Court in Smedrevo, that is, in the courtroom of the High Court in Belgrade, in the Belgrade District Prison.

At the end of the preliminary hearing, the judge will schedule the main hearing (trial), at which the Blažić should present their defense in detail.
