It was discovered that in the case of the disappearance of two-year-old Danka Ilić in Banjsko Polje, there are new witnesses, the media write, adding that one of them is of "crucial importance".
In the Higher Public Prosecutor's Office in Zaječar, the hearing of new witnesses in the investigation of the murder of two-year-old Danka Ilić from Bor, who was allegedly killed by the workers of the PUK "Vodovod" from Bor, D.D. (50) and S.J. (50), and as Kurir exclusively learns, the hearing of one of them is of great importance for the investigation.
"These are two neighbors from Banjsko Polje, from whom nothing crucial is expected. However, the authorities were contacted by a man from Bor, who is the third witness, and who said that he was jogging at the exact time when the suspects were at the dump and allegedly threw away the body," the source told Kurir and added:
"What exactly he saw, why he came forward only now, will be known on Friday. There is a possibility that his testimony will prove that they really threw a murdered child in the garbage."
Incidentally, the suspect D.D. who confessed to the crime and described it in detail during the hearing at the prosecutor's office after his arrest, requested that the prosecutor's office interrogate him again.
Lawyer Vanja Živković said that to date she has not received an affirmative or negative answer as to whether the prosecution will accept the re-examination of her client D.D.
By the way, in explaining why he wants an additional hearing, D.D. says "in order to clarify the circumstances and presented facts that he put on the record during the hearing on April 5, 2024".
