Operation of the Service for Combating Organized Crime, supported by SAJ: 9 arrested; 150 kg of drugs seized

Members of the Service for Combating Organized Crime (SBPOK) of the Serbian Ministry of Internal Affairs, with the assistance of the Special Anti-Terrorist Unit (SAJ), arrested a nine-member organized criminal group.

The arrest operation was carried out by order of the Public Prosecutor's Office for Organized Crime.

According to reports, more than 150 kilograms of various narcotics, mostly amphetamines, were seized.

The police of Austria and the Czech Republic participated in the operation codenamed "Belvedere", and the tenth suspected member of this criminal group was arrested in Prague.

12 locations were searched in the territory of Belgrade, Novi Sad, Niš, Leskovac and Sremska Mitrovica.
