Suspects of Danka's murder sent for psychiatric examination
D.D. and S.J., suspects in the murder of two-year-old Danka Ilić, have been sent to the Special Prison Hospital in Belgrade for a psychiatric examination, "Blic" learns.
"After receiving the autopsy report of the Institute of Forensic Medicine Belgrade, the Higher Public Prosecutor's Office in Zaječar submitted a proposal for the substitution of jurisdiction in the proceedings regarding the death of the now deceased D. D., in accordance with the Methodology for the investigation in cases of abuse, for which reasons the case was not made public" , announced the Higher Public Prosecutor's Office in Zaječar.
As they state in VJT Zaječar, the change of jurisdiction was requested for the reasons stipulated in the Methodology for investigation in cases of abuse.
"The autopsy report was submitted with a proposal for substitution to the prosecution, which should decide according to the proposal, in this particular case the Appellate Public Prosecutor's Office in Niš. The Higher Public Prosecutor's Office in Zaječar will no longer carry out actions in the proceedings following the death of the late D. D.", they point out in VJT Zaječar.
Just to recall, Danka Ilić was killed on March 26, 2024, in Banjsko Polje, and S. J. and D. D. are suspected of that crime
. D. D., the brother of the suspect D. D., was arrested on suspicion of helping his brother dispose of the body of Danka Ilić. He was detained by the police for up to 48 hours, after which he died in the Police Station in Bor.
The father of the suspects, R. D., is also in custody.
